I recently hired Norbec to redo our front walkway after I received their business card at my doorstep. I didn't know anyone who had worked with them in the past so I quickly scanned the Google Reviews and called. There are 2 names that appear on the business card and I called the first name, Antonio Fortunato Recchia. Antonio returned my call right away and was very pleasant to speak to. We took an appointment to meet a few days later.
Antonio arrived promptly at the time we agreed to and we went over what need to be done. Antonio was very clear in his explanations, very thorough and very professional. He gave me a quick estimate which he wrote on his business card and which I found to be very reasonable. Work then got very busy for me and Antonio repeatedly called me to follow-up. This was actually quite surprising as we are the ones who tend to need to repeatedly call contractors. We finally agreed to a date to get the work completed.
On the day of the work, he and his employee arrived at around 6:45am. Because the work I required was not complex, Antonio briefed his employee and then left. The employee turned out to be a very nice gentlemen who worked very hard all day, taking the necessary lunch break. At the end of the day, Antonio came back and we reviewed the work together and he asked me if I was pleased and I was. He also generously offered to drop off a bag of jointing sand so that I could fill in any small holes that might appear in the Spring after the winter thaw.
Overall I was extremely please with Antonio's and Norbec's services and I have no problem recommending them to you. Believe me, if I didn't like them, I would take the time to write this great review. Give Antonio a call, you won't be disappointed!

I recently contacted "Les Entreprises Norbec R.A.F. Inc." to deal with what I thought to be a straightforward problem, which included the re-leveling of my Pavi-Uni landing/patio as well as the repair/reconstruction of the drain on my down-sloping driveway. Antonio met with me later that day and evaluated the work to be executed. He proceeded to give me a quote for the Pavi-Uni work but, before estimating the cost, provided a detailed explanation as to what the problem with the driveway drain might entail, even before having dug up the asphalt to see the full extent of the problem.
He and his team arrived early and tackled the Pavi-Uni job first. It was expertly executed, leaving me with what looked like a brand-new landing/patio. They then proceeded to dig up the asphalt, which revealed exactly what Antonio had predicted. The existing drain was too small and ill-constructed. The corrugated plastic pipes had become completely blocked with tree roots and vegetation, rendering them completely useless. He suggested a larger, lateral drain and rigid PVC piping, leading to an existing drainage pit in the garage. This would entail digging a trench into the garage.
Throughout every step of the process, during extreme heat conditions, Antonio's team worked expertly, efficiently, neatly, and politely. Just like the Pavi-Uni work, the cement work, drain installation, and asphalt work were meticulously executed. Antonio's expertise was evident from the beginning, when he was able to predict the extent of the drain problem and offered a fair estimate, reflecting the eventuality of the worst-case scenario.
Given my very positive (and very pleasant) experience, I highly recommend Antonio and his team and would not hesitate to use their services again.
I redid my entry and driveway. Antonio and his team were very punctual, started work at 7 a.m., and worked until late to get the job for the day done. They always cleaned up the worksite and never left things behind. The entryway looks great, and I’m very pleased with the result. The asphalt and stone are of the best quality. Many people stopped to admire and comment on the nice job. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
